What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro, Delta, Solo, American Express, JCB cards and PayPal. All payments are taken by Worldpay (Royal Bank of Scotland) or PayPal.

All payments are processed by Worldpay or PayPal on their secure sites, no online card details are seen by or stored by us.

If you would rather pay by cheques you can post us a letter with details of what you would like, who you are, and where it is going, along with the cheque, and we’ll process the order as soon as we receive it. Or give our Sales team a call on 015397 38200, and they’ll take your order over the phone.

Are invoicing accounts provided?

We offer 30 day invoicing accounts for schools and local authorities.

I’m ordering for my business, can I open a credit account?

If your company has been trading for longer than a year, or if you have been a customer of ours for more than a year we can hopefully set-up a credit account for you.Please email the following details to [email protected]:

– Company letter headed paper including company/charity registration number (not VAT number).

– Name and contact details of the person responsible for payment, including email address.

– Details of the products that you’d like to order.

Will using compatible printer cartridges void my warranty?

Major printer manufacturers sell printers at or below cost. They make their profits from selling the cartridges. Formerly, once you bought your expensive new printer you had no choice but to buy one of their cartridges after yours ran dry. By using compatibles you are cutting into their primary source of profit. Because of this, they will threaten to void your warranty if you use compatible cartridges. They are simply trying to protect their own interests anyway they can. It is however strictly ILLEGAL for them to do so. They CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY simply for using compatible cartridges. There is no reason that you should not use compatible cartridges. They work and will save YOU money.

Will I Get the Same Number of Printed Pages From a Compatible Ink Cartridge as an Original Cartridge?

You will get at least the same number of printed pages from compatible Inkjet cartridges as you will get from an OEM Inkjet cartridge. Customers are reporting many, many more pages of print per cartridge over their OEM Inkjet cartridges.

My printer won’t recognise the cartridge

The first thing to check is that the cartridge is compatible with the printer in question. If you are unsure, you can always contact us, and we can advise accordingly. 

Not being recognized can be caused by the contacts on the cartridge not connecting with your printer. 

Try wiping the copper contact plate on the cartridge over with a slightly damp piece of kitchen towel. Make sure the copper plates on the cartridges are dry and place back into the printer. This is a common ‘fix’ for Epson printers. 

As with many machines, turning it off and back on again after a few minutes can help it to clear its memory and work again. 

When installed run your printers cleaning program 3 to 4 times for best results as this will clean the heads and push the ink through. 

If the cartridge is still not recognised turn the printer off, remove the cartridge and reinstall, pushing down firmly on the cartridge to make sure it is properly seated.

What is a compatible cartridge?

A compatible cartridge is simply a printer ink cartridge (or toner cartridge) created for a certain range of machines by a third party – not by the initial producer of the printer. They all go through testing and meet stringent quality requirements just like OEM cartridges and work in much the same way, last just as long, and print to just as high a standard, but are almost always considerably cheaper.

I’ve just installed four cartridges into my printer, and it won’t recognise them, what can I do?

We recommend replacing cartridges one at a time. It is a common occurrence that if all four cartridges are changed at once that the printer rejects them all. It is recommended that you reinstall the empty cartridges, and replace them one at a time with the new ones.

What’s the difference between Remanufactured, Refilled, and Compatible cartridges?

‘Remanufactured’ and ‘Refilled’ are simply different names for the same thing. These are recycled cartridges that have been collected by a third party (see our Blog Entry on recycling), cleaned, refilled, and rigorously tested to ensure they meet the same high standards as they did when they were first produced. 

A ‘compatible’ cartridge is one that is made entirely afresh, and has not been recycled, produced by a third party for a certain printer.

What are your Delivery Terms and do you offer Free Delivery?

We offer a FREE Delivery service on all UK orders. This includes all orders for Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands. In most cases we send orders by First Class Royal Mail 98% of these orders are delivered next working day if ordered before 4.30pm Monday – Thursday. For larger goods or goods of a high value we may choose to send your order by courier, or a combination of both if we feel this is more appropriate.

Do you ship to Europe?

We ship to most members of the EU. Shipping is charged by weight on all non UK orders. This is shown at the checkout before payment is taken. Shipping to Europe is either by international sign for postage or by courier.

I require a VAT receipt with my order, can you provide one?

All orders include a full invoice, which can be used as a VAT receipt. If you need anything else though, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

I haven’t received my order, what’s happened to it?

We make every effort to have your cartridges with you promptly, sending all orders by Royal Mail First Class for free, with most orders arriving the next day. Unfortunately some orders can take up to five working days to arrive.

If your order takes longer than this to arrive then please don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’ll do our utmost to sort out the problem
